Move-Up Program
If you are planning on selling your home and buying a new-construction home, i.e. Main Street, Capitol Pacific, Meritage, Centex, etc., you’ll want to read this:
ERA Star of Texas Realty charges 6% for the listing of your resale when choosing the move up option. We will REBATE any commission we make on the new home up to the equivalent, but not to exceed the equivalent of commissions paid on the old home, when the new home closes. This reduces the amount of commission that you pay, equaling more money retained by you. The key to this is that you have to use me as your Realtor when you go to purchase the new home.
Here's and example:
Your home $200,000 X 6% commission = $12,000
New Home $300,000 X 3% commission = $ 9,000
We will rebate the $9,000, so in this situation you would only pay $3,000 in commissions to sell your home.
